Is there a minimum order?
No. Most of what we run is one to ten pieces. A single mill or pump component is normal work here.

What kind of work do you take?
Industrial and capital equipment components — new parts, and the rework and rebuild of ones you already own: steel and tubular mill parts, pump and rotating equipment, size-reduction wear parts, foundry and pipe tooling, machinery for equipment builders. We are not set up for automotive, small engine or consumer work.

Can you repair it instead of replacing it?
Often, yes, and on a lot of parts it costs less than buying new. Worn journals, bores, seats and wear faces get welded back up and re-machined to drawing size; assemblies come apart and go back together here. Send it in and we’ll tell you whether it’s worth repairing or whether you’re better off buying new.

There’s no drawing for this component. Now what?
Common on equipment that has been running thirty years. We measure the existing part, build a solid model you keep as the record, and machine the replacement.

What’s in-house and what gets sent out?
Turning, milling, welding, keyseating, assembly, paint, marking and inspection are all here. Heat treat, carburizing and plating go to sources we schedule, ship, track and inspect on return. You buy the finished part from us.

How big a part can you machine?
102″ × 32″ on the long-bed CNC vertical. Horizontal boring to 86.6″ × 64.9″ × 62.9″, taking up to 10,000 lb. Turning to 87.8″ between centers on a 30.5″ swing. Bigger than that, call and we’ll check.

Do you ship outside Alabama?
Nationwide. Most of our largest customers are out of state.
